I never knew that music could be a therapy for ADHD. A few of our kids struggle with ADD and ADHD at home and school. Maybe taking a few music classes can help them with their medical condition.

One of the exercises that I do with my ADHD clients to incorporate mindfulness in is to have them take a 1-minute breathing break. I would have them sit and breathe as I watch the time so that they can calm down and slow their minds down as well. Then I would ask them how it felt during that time (long, short, etc.) that way I can tie in how time is elastic and how it's helpful to take a minute to breathe to reduce feelings of frustration, anxiety, overwhelmed, impulsivity, racing thoughts, and inattention. It typically allows them to think more clearly and takes away the pressure of time moving too quickly or too many tasks to complete in a limited amount of time.

For "examples with adaptions" slide regarding cognitive inflexibility:
- I would suggest to make the second bullet even more clear by adding the example of "giving the student time countdown prompts (e.g. 10 minute until we change task/activity/hw, 5 min. till.., 3 mins....)
 - also, it been my experience working with the population that visual prompts/cues help such as having a watch or clock available, so that they can also learn time management.

Yes. Very helpful indeed. If I may also suggest something for those who can’t seem to get their mind to stop in the middle of the day...
I've had awesome results using fidget spinners for ADHD and stress relief.
